Project Description
ELSE Enerji is the leading PV engineering company in Turkey and is relying on the iControl SCADA to remotely control and supervise their photovoltaic generation farms, more than 100 plants around Turkey.
At each PV plant, one iRTU gathers the data with a 1ms time accuracy from dozens of inverters (via ModbusRTU), meters (via IEC 62056–23), and protections relays (via IEC 61850) and transfers the data via IEC60870‑5–104 through GPRS (secured VPN connection) to the control center, where it’s stored on an SQL database.
The whole system is operated by an EPC, but each power plant is owned by a different investor who can access all the information about his plant via web browser.
A third party mateorological forecast service sends weather data as JSON webservices, which is then parsed and processed as standard measures.
