Project description

The end cus­tomer of this project is respon­si­ble for ground and under­ground rail­way trans­porta­tion. It is expand­ing its metro lines to 5 grad­u­ally. It uses a SCADA of SIEMENS for mon­i­tor­ing and con­trol­ling all sta­tions

The sys­tem is cur­rently using IEC101 pro­to­col to gather the data, but now it is installing gate­ways from IEC101 to IEC104 pro­to­cols by iGrid (iGW) which enables the end cus­tomer to expand its SCADA net­work using high tech­nol­ogy switches and SDH equip­ment via Eth­er­net eas­ily. The installed units from iGrid are used to mon­i­tor and con­trol Low Power Subesta­tions (380 Volt­age grid) in one of metro lines via IEC104 to exist­ing SCADA Con­trol Cen­ter.

Hydroelectric generation plant
