Project Description
This project involves the supply and installation of iRTU units and the iControl SCADA for a HV substation which supplies electrical energy to a number of pumping stations at a 20 KV voltage level.
The HV element of the substation is monitored and controlled by the control center of the regional utility via IEC 101, and the MV part of the substation is monitored and controlled by iGrid’s iControl SCADA software via IEC 104. The installed RTU from iGrid (iRTU-B0C1) communicates with both control centers simultaneously and reads the metering data from metering IEDs in Modbus RTU protocol via an RS485 bus.
