The DNP3.0 protocol is commonly used to transmit locally collected data to SCADA systems and control centers. However, a lot of substation devices and equipment can only communicate with other protocols such as Modbus or IEC 61850.
Our advanced SCADA system iControl acts as a bridge between intelligent devices on the substation level and 2nd level master stations communicating via DNP3. It is adaptable to any application requirements, from small MV substations and power plants to large-scale HV substations and entire distribution grids, always working in the same environment.
It’s intuitive configuration environment and HMI combined with integrated PLC automation capabilities make at an easy-to-use platform for both complex and simple substation automation projects.
It unites important functionalities for electricity distribution networks, such as single-line diagrams, playback event reproduction, quality of service calculations (SAIDI & SAIFI ratios), templates or SQL database and alarm/event management. It was specifically designed for the energy sector, allowing us to create a simple and intuitive interface for the operation and configuration of substation automation systems (SAS) and distribution control centers.
Furthermore, iControl SCADA can be accessed online via web browser and send automated reports via PDF or E‑Mail to facilitate communications between different actors and operators.

iControl SCADA
High-performance SCADA for the visualization and control of substation data. It is able to run either in client/server or standalone modes, providing advanced functionalities such as hot-standby redundancy, automatic line coloring, events notification (via e‑mail and sms), SQL logging, and reports generation.
