The market is pushing to switchgear and transformer manufacturers to offer smarter products, while integrating also control and communication capabilities. iRTU/iGW families can be easily integrated into any new or existing switch or transformer, in order to collect data and send it with standard protocols to the control center or the substation RTU.
Our R&D department is working closely with electrical manufacturers in order to offer compact automation products for distribution grid. These products integrate switchgear and transformers, together with sensors (current and power transformers, Rugowsky coils, temperature sensors, …) using the most standardized communication protocols (IEC61850, IEC60870-5-104/101, DNP3.0 and Modbus).
High-performance SCADA for visualization and control of substation data, either running in a Client/Server or Standalone configuration. iControl provides advanced functionalities such as hot-standby redundancy, automatic line coloring, alarms notification (via e-mail and sms), SQL logging, reports generation, and support for standard communication protocols used in the energy sector (IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101/104, DNP3.0, Modbus, etc).
iRTU & iGW Series
The iRTU family includes a wide range of products for substation automation and telecontrol of MV networks such as RTUs, bay controllers, substation gateways, data concentrators, and smart meter gateways. Basic iRTU & iGW configurations can be expanded with different communication options (e.g. internal GPRS modem or advanced embedded Ethernet switch). Communication protocols supported: IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101/102/103/104, DNP3.0, Modbus and DLMS.
